Is there any way to remove read more at the end of the post? I tried removing it in the html but it still showed up for some reason. It is displaying the full post so there is no reason for read more to be there.

You can try to remove "Read more" using <gsub> tag (see http://feed.informer.com/blog/template-tags/) in Per-Item Template.
