Today is Super Tuesday, so it's a huge day at my political blog. Unfortunately, the feeds aren't loading at all right now. I hope this doesn't continue throughout the day. Can we PLEASE get an update on what's going on with the feeds at this moment?

Important day and feeds are glacially slow

This isn't an official response, but I'd say it's due to the heavily increased level of traffic that today is most likely bringing. I don't know if that's the case or not, but days like this tended to cause extreme spikes in the past, considering Feed Digest's heavy use on blogs and news sites.

Could be, but it would be nice to get an official response and an assurance that it's being worked on. Thanks, Peter.

I think you guys hit on a great idea and it's obviously paying off as it seems like a lot of people are subscribing. However, as a paying subscriber, I do find service patchy and find there is a lot of downtime when feed is not responding. I'm often told it's my server or my ISP and all is fine at feeddigest end. But I'm now seeing others post the same thing and a response about heavy load on feeddigest servers. So I now realise I'm not crazy.
I know it's not my server, because the feed is either very slow or does not respond when I try to access it from the feeddigest site. It's not all the time but maybe 15%-20% of the time which is too much. It affects my site if my pages don't load because the feeds don't load. If my pages don't load then users go elsewhere. I really don't want to but I think I will need to move my feed service elsewhere and imagine others will too if there's not an active solution to fix this. I hope you guys can figure it out. Thanks
