I am having the same trouble... It keeps trying to verify but never confirms. Even adding a feed source previously used elsewhere will not verify.
I'm also seeing this Mysql2 duplicate error now. But I can still add feed sources previously used.
I'm also having issues where items that I'd expect to be classified as live aren't showing up unless I untick the 'Show live items only' so I'm also investigating that.
