Hi guys,
I've set up a new blognetwork for people to post the feed on their sites but the guys that run wordpress blogs are having trouble getting the feeds to work.
Is there a known wordpress strategy that allows those users to join in?
Hi guys,

Hi,
firstly, I think it is a cool idea to use FI widgets the way you did, my respects for that.
Basically it should not be any issues with our widgets if you own a self-hosted WordPress blog, in this case the embed code can be placed directly inside one of the WP templates, like sidebar.php.
To do that, you need to login to WordPress admin interface, go to Appearance -> Themes -> Editor, choose a template (e.g. Sidebar) and paste the FI embed code into an appropriate position.
Regarding possible issues with blogs hosted on wordpress.com, I need some time to update my knowledge on this matter, I'll post my conclusions here later.
Anyway I would appreciate if you provide me with more details on the issues your guys have with WP.
Apparently you can't use widgets at all if your blog is hosted on wordpress.com, due to their security policies. You can't use your own themes, you can't edit source files of the theme: http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/
So there no solution for this issue, except moving to a self-hosted WordPress installation.
OK thanks for letting me know with this. I don't run a wordpress blog anymore so I don't have a live test site. I tried to embed it as an html widget on hosted wordpress but it fails and doesn't load the feed.
I'll have to install a wordpress site on my server to check out self hosting options. Thanks :)
