Yes, FeedDigest receives funding!
Yes, you heard it here.. last. News has a funny way of leaking out when you're in the Web industry, so it'll be news to many, but not to some. FeedDigest has received funding and is proud to take its place in the Curious Office incubation partnership. You can read our official press release if you like.
Curious Office and FeedDigest have also begun to get their first writeups by the old-school media. The Seattle Times looks at the whole Curious Office approach, and The Puget Sound Journal looks at Curious Office and FeedDigest in a more technical sense.
So, we've arrived for the party.. we just need to get dancing. Thanks for all the support of our customers, the bloggers, and all the industry insiders who've helped us get to this point.

Congratulations. Very much looking forward to what’s in store…. Any word on likely release dates?
As you can probably appreciate, things are a little topsy turvy here at the moment, but everything’s getting straightened out and hopefully we can get back to a regular release flow soon.

Funny that CuriousOffice is headquartered in our hometown in the Seattle area. It would take me less than 25 minutes to get to their headquarters in Pioneer Square.
By the way, the link you provided was to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, not the Seattle Times. The P-I and the Times are seperate papers. Pacific Northwest Portal relies heavily upon those two papers for mainstream news stories in Washington State. They are our largest papers.
