I've been using FeedDigest to include this feed:
http://meters-mixed.tumblr.com/rss
into a narrow right-hand column in this blog
http://meters-mixed.blogspot.com
I had to modify the template to get the implanted pictures to be the right size using this line:
<gsub from="_500.jpg" to="_250.jpg">
But when you upgraded FeedDigest recently the picture size hack failed - and I haven't been able to make it go again.
I'd appreciate any clues for the clueless.

Is the substitution still taking place? Look at the source for the raw HTML digest output. If so, it might be that the original site is no longer doing dynamic resizing in this way?

This one is the picture as posted at Tumblr and is being passed through by FeedDigest:

But this is the resized one I want to appear in the FeedDigest feed

The smaller picture is available. I just can't get the gsub statement to work. It used to. (an even smaller pic is available also http://data.tumblr.com/AOyhfHv7t3c7o6kqJaRD4qjm_100.jpg is too small)
My apologies: in my first post I said that this stopped working when you upgraded. It stopped worked when the originating site (Tumblr) upgraded. For example this picture http://data.tumblr.com/17224602_500.jpg in the old Tumblr format was changed into http://data.tumblr.com/17224602_250.jpg by gsub.)
