   I Finally found the solution I have been looking for in "Feed Digest". Looking forward to the upgrade...

   I am working with tpl templates on my site, so I don't think I can add php to that, and I cannot fnd any step by step process for adding php code.

   next step is html code, but when I click "get code" at the bottom of my digest my only option is flash or picture code. I don't like flash and want the SE's to be able to read it. Picture formating is too small L to R. The view html is how I need the digest to look, but I don't see where I can find the basic html code.

   Please advise.

   You need the JavaScript include, rather than the PHP one.

   You can't use the HTML code unless it's included automatically someway, otherwise you'd have to come back to Feed Digest every single day to copy and paste the code.. so that's not really a viable solution.

   I kind of thought that and am using the Java, but that is the same issue as Flash - not visible by SE's - correct?

   Is there a step by step on how to do the php include? I assume a php file has to be set up, and then code on the tpl page to pull from the php file?

   Is there a time frame fo the upgrade? I need to include more than the existing limited number of feeds...

   Not really sure "what" it is, but I think it is short for Template. In the script I am using it combines PHP, HTML and the "template" of the site is comprised of tpl files. I have to edit them in notepad becuase my Adobe GoLive does not recognize it. Here is the code from one of the tpl files;

   I have to admit I'm not aware of the technology your site is using. Is there a page your Web host or software provider provides that explains it that we can look at?

   Hopefully this will help. I have seen quite a few scripts that use .tpl files to control the templates.

    I Googled around and found these instructions for putting PHP code on the PHPBB template TPL files:

    Go to your administration panel.
    Click on security settings.
    And search for ; Allow php in templates: and selected that on yes.

    Then.. in your template use PHP code, but surround it.. like so:

    <!-- PHP -->
    put your Feed Digest PHP code here..
    <!-- ENDPHP -->
