   I noticed that my digests have not updated for the past 8 hours. Can they be set to update every 2 hours no matter what?

   Only requests of the digest trigger updates. This means sites in test modes or sites that are only visited extremely infrequently will not update regularly no matter what (unless the feeds are used by other users who are making them update). As you site is, I believe, a test site, this is a temporary issue. Once the digests are requested frequently, so the updates will occur.
