In this case incorrect. Nostr is built on relays same as Mastodon is built on instances, so you can post your own stuff on your own relay or on a relay that fits your needs the most, with the difference that you can send/host each post on the different relay, while Mastodon instance host your entire account. And in case somebody crosses a line, you can report that asshole to a relay owner, who will then solve the problem by removing that note from their server. You can also block and mute whoever pisses you off. So, it is not the same as being uncensored or uncontrolled, it offers far more control to the user, and you can power your own relay and host the content that you want. If you disagree with a relay policy or content, don't send your notes there, don't back up with them, and don't visit them.
