Note that this can mean the 30 day "archive" of non-live posts will be wiped, so if you are using that, you might not want this to occur.. but if you don't mind, then I can easily just get it to recrawl the feed as if it were new.

We are thinking of making this a manual feature you can activate from the control panel at some point, but when it comes to deleting things, we have to tread carefully :)

If a globally unique identifier (GUID) is present, it uses that to indicate if a post is new or not. Therefore, if the GUID doesn't change but the content does.. our crawler still won't crawl it because it has the same ID as the older post. This is a semantic problem with the specifications for feeds really, and one we might work around in future. If GUIDs are not present, we use a combination of titles and destination URL.. so sometimes changing a title will cause the whole thing to update if GUIDs aren't present.

The reason for all of this is that if we checked every single post on every single request, our server wouldn't be able to process feeds as quickly as it does, unfortunately.

In any case, do you want me to force a refresh of that feed?

I'm having a problem with a del.icio.us feed that I am pulling into my site. I've changed an entry, but I cannot get that change to appear on my site. I've checked the box to only pick up what is live, but it still doesn't refresh.
