Hehe, well done! Most users don't figure this out by themselves :)

That same line is given to you (along with instructions) on our "Get code" page, by the way.

Well, I solved it. I guess you can keep the solution here if you want. Thanks for the help. ;)

You need to add a "meta http-equiv" content type to the header of the file that houses the feed:

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

As an update I believe this has to do with UTF-8 encoding.

When I switch the IE browser to it, they display fine. However, this is not the default setting for IE. Is there an encoding option I'm missing?

We have some smart quotes in some of our feeds that don't display properly in IE. Is there a setting that I need to change somewhere? Here is the feed:

http://app.feeddigest.com/digest3/BIMAOV3OXY.html

What is weird is that it looks fine on any browser just as a raw feed, but when it's placed in our site the quotes and other such symbols appear all garbled. When I use PHP code it is garbled on both IE and Firefox. When I use Javascript code it's only garbled in IE.

Any ideas.

The feed is displayed here:

http://www.garbc.org

It's the news posts in the light blue box.
