Every feed in that digest from search.twitter.com was a regular twitter feed that I had trouble with

It seems you have different types of sources in it - it may be the reason for failure. What is the feed that isn't working properly?

Actually we don't have any problems with Twitter, but they may have changed format standards. What is the digest id? I'll try to check out.

I've seen this has been addressed before, but adding Twitter feeds is very haphazard lately. Some work, some don't. Can't understand why. A little help?
