I'd still be intrigued as to whether you were using JavaScript or PHP. We have a remote service that requests our digests from afar 24 hours a day, and get text messages whenever Feed Digest goes down.

Also, we get LOTS of e-mail if Feed Digest ever does go down, and haven't had any for weeks, so unfortunately we'll probably have to chalk this one up as a quirk. Do post again if you have further issues though!

All seems fast and good from here, but there are certain things that can cause this issue. The primary one we have noticed is when people use PHP includes and their provider suddenly change their security settings and the includes no longer work. Another we have seen is when providers block our provider (network turf wars!) and so your requests can not get through.

One thing to try is to log into Feed Digest and access your digests directly with the links provided there. If those load, everything is good at our end but there may be other issues to look into. At that point it's best to try JavaScript includes. If they work, then your provider is doing something wacky, but you can then try the "Curl" include code we provide.
