I believe the search has to at least be a couple of characters, but a full-stop is not considered a character. However, consider trying.. -"5.0" .. I'm not confident it'll work, but if any combination does, it'd be that.

Peter:
In the search query I need to filter out news items with certain numbers in them. For example if the news item has the number 5.0 in it I tried entering in "-5" and I tried entering in "-5.0". Unfortunately neither way does the trick. Does the search query not recognize numbers? Or am I doing it wrong?
Thanks in advance.
