Digests are only updated after loads, so if your digest is not loaded much, as soon as you start playing with it, it will seem to update quicker.

I have published a new post in my blog and I am trying to check how long it takes my feed digest to publish in my site the new post. It takes so long. But if I open my feed digest (after waiting two hours or more) and save it again, then publishes the new post quickly.
I would like to know about what depends on the updating. And if I want to delete a post or publish a new one, How long will I have to wait? Do I have to open and save my feed digest, if I want to update my site quickly?
