Items will not generally "update" if they existed before, then you change something about them, and republished. We catch items based on their GUID / Globally Unique ID, and so once we've got an item, it's in our database and does not change. This might not be suitable to you. New items are, of course, added as you'd expect.

You can have a trial upgrade for a few months if that will work.

Hi from Spain. We are checking your produt as free user. We are planning to pay an account (plus or basic) but we have some doubts.
1. We are working with some digest created from a blog and other sites. But we are changed some things in the blog (some posts and dates) but our digests have not updated for the past 24 hours. We are very interested in this product, but it's very important to know how the updating works. If we have some changes in our blog, when our site will have the changes updated.
2. Another question is that upgrades. We have a now a free account. Can we upgrade to plus account? If we have a plus account or a basic account, we'll have more updates (every hour or 30 minutes).
