Dear mjnaleva,

unfortunately, if you edit the items manually, the order won't be the same as in the source feed. Feed Informer identifies the latest update and posts the corresponding item on top.

Tried sending an email to customer support now since I haven't gotten any reply via the forum for the past week. Hopefully someone will respond. Basically explained how my underlying RSS feed (when looking at the XML) for my Feed Informer digest (27C0D0QZOC) looks good and I set my digest's order to be based on the 'Original Order' of the feed. However, the items are not listed in my Feed Informer digest in the same order as the original RSS feed. Seems like they're listed instead by the last time I modified the entries or something to that effect.

Admin,

Well, it worked until I made some more recent changes to what's shown in the underlying RSS feed. Now, the Feed Informer display just shows links in the feed that I changed when it's clear that there are other links in the feed too. Seems so easy for Feed Informer and the underlying RSS feed to get out of sync.

I am getting disappointed in the reliability. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

Mark

I have to report that my feed seems to not be updating correctly The digest ID is 27C0D0QZOC. I had a case where I renamed an event title (about 2 days ago). The feed the digest points to appears to be updated just fine. However, Feed Informer shows an entry still for the old and new names of the same event. Can you help?

Also, in a general sense, are there any tricks to get the Feed Informer digest to update quickly? It's a bit of a pain when you're trying to tweak the look of a feed and having to wait several minutes/hours to see the effect kick in.

kpflude,

we are not sure which of your digests you have in mind, but first try to check the availability of the source feed(s) you included.

If all sources are live, please specify the ID of the digest for us to check.

Hello beloitbarbellclub,

according to our test the feed is up-to-date, however the Timezone in the digest settings is currently set to -6. It is likely to be the reason for the time shift you described.

Dear reshen,

thank you for your kind words and (of course) patience. The investigation took time.

It seems that your source feeds include extra item, which affects the result content of the digest this way. We have sent detailed information to your email (the one associated with your FI account).

In case you have other questions (connected to the point or not), please feel free to submit them.
