we check feeds for validity with the same validation engine as used by <a href="http://feedvalidator.org/" rel="nofollow">http://feedvalidator.org/</a> and <a href="http://validator.w3.org/feed/" rel="nofollow">http://validator.w3.org/feed/</a>, they both provide extensive error reports.
