This feed validated elsewhere, just not on FD. Any idea what I can do? Here it is:
http://del.icio.us/rss/DLMSite/Old
same is true for http://del.icio.us/rss/DLMSite/Earlier

Seems to be a problem with delicious feeds. When I try to add mine to a digest, it tells me it's not a valid feed, although the feed is there and validating on the suggested check site. Any help? Delicious would be an important part of my digest. (That's the feed in question: http://feeds.delicious.com/rss/einschicht )

I'm able to use those to create new digests on my account, so I guess the problem is now resolved!

Yeah I just tried it again and it tells me the feed is invalid. It's definitely not fixed at this point.

I just tried http://del.icio.us/rss/DLMSite/Old again and it's working for me.

Still wont work for me:
http://feeds.delicious.com/rss/jtbjustin

That one works now but http://del.icio.us/rss/DLMSite/Latest doesn't.

I guess there are items in the feed that causes FD to refuse. And when those items are pushed out of the feed, it works again. But this is really irritating. I tried to migrate a lot of del.icio.us tag rss subscriptions, and FD refused half of them. And they were all valid. :(
This really needs to be fixed. My whole point of joining FD was to have it remove duplicates across several tags from del.icio.us

On the plus side, feeds only need to be valid (by the criteria of whatever parser is doing the job) when feeds are *added*. Once they're in the system, they work generally even if they're not valid, since it's a different, and far more liberal parser doing the job. I never got round to using that new and improved parser on the front end, however (note: I am no longer connected to FD officially, but am still posting here to help where I can.)
In any case, once your feeds are actually in, you should be good.

Peter - is there a way to get FD engaged into this conversation?

That would be really great... because although it would work once I add it.... I still cant add it to begin with.
