We had to switch the system into cache mode to finish a maintenance routine. Digests are served as usual, the main drawback is that the panel cannot be accessed until the routine finishes, which should happen within an hour.

Understand there are problems, but if I were thinking of moving to a paid service from Feed Informer, I would like to see the kind of communication available when there are issus. Some kind of update on length of time there will be an outage, even a best guess, would be good to see.

This was the message when I tried to log in to my account, about 10 hours ago and again now:

Where is the information you say is available on the forum? When will digests be working again?

Our digest froze for about a day and is now not displaying at all (Digest YDPXP0IENN).

We are displaying a message on the page where the feed should appear, to explain whose problem it is:

FI has been down all day and not a single post or update here? What's going on?

Wow, I haven't used Feed Informer for well over a year (when it was Feed Digest), and just decided to give it a try again because of the apparent renewed management. And here we go again with issues.

Not a single one of my javascripts has updated in over 15 hours now. Then I couldn't log in to my account. Now there is no status update on when service will return.

(Side note: I don't know why anyone would pay $50 PER DIGEST for this level of quality. I also fail to understand how you even came to the conclusion that $50 per digest was anywhere near a market rate. I would've been willing to pay at MOST, for a perfect feed service, $5 per digest for logo removal.)

Are you all aware that the service IS NOT running properly whenever many people start complaining that their digests are not updating? You should not be having to go in and manually inspect each person's digest; this is a symptom of a system-wide problem that needs to be addressed on a system-wide level.

Oh, and by the way, when I try to log in to my account, as urged on one of the feed displays, I get the same "Feed Informer is currently undergoing important maintenance" message.

What is going on?

When is the timeline for getting feeds back online?

Why weren't we warned in advance?

Why haven't you updated this forum with any news since the feeds went down several hours ago?

OK, but where is the forum post explaining this?

Also, why does one of my feeds display this message? Webmaster! Your Feed Informer account is inactive. Please login to re-activate this digest.

I wasn't aware that my FI account was inactive. Why would you tell my readers this?

Looks like Feed Informer has fallen over yet again. For me, this is the last straw - I've deleted all my Feed Informer feeds and implemented another solution using the Google API. It's a pity, but maybe when all their users have done the same, someone at FI might realise that you can't keep letting cutomers down like this.

Something bad has happened -- all my feeds have disappeared. When I try to check on them something called Ruby on Rails won't load. What all is up?

Our data center lost power and all machines were reset. This led to the control panel being down for 1.5 hours by accident, but actual digest serving was down only approximately 5 minutes.
