I found a post about this issue, but haven't found a response. I keep getting an Invalid URL error when setting up a new digest. Here is the feed that I'm trying to use: feed://www.matternetwork.com/xml/Matter-headlines-rss.xml

Hi everyone,

Total newbie question. Im trying to add a feed for my website and feed.informer tells me that the URL is invalid.

I checked and tried again. Still no go.

Ive had no problems with Google and a couple of other RSS bloig aggregation sites.

Some help would be appreciated- but please in simple terms- Im a point a click person rather than understanding the coding and xml that makes RSS work!

Hi matthewiannowlin,

according to our tech guy, this problem occurs because of the spaces in the link. As an option you can try to add initial feed (http://feeds.feedburner.com/MatthewIanNowlin) as source and adjust the output using filters in Digest Settings.

feed informer says the url is invalid, but I have validated with w3c's validation service, as well as a couple others. It is a valid Atom 1.0 feed.

Why is it not working for me?

I'm using a twitter feed and it is valid based on the validator this site uses. Why is the feed coming back as invalid. Here is the url: http://api.twitter.com/1/statuses/user_timeline.rss?screen_name=Blaine963

unfortunately this feed does not validate. You can check it trough any feed validation service over the Internet. We usually use this one: http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mbernard.ca%2Frss.php

Hi everyone,

Each time I try to add this feed : http://www.mbernard.ca/rss.php, I get an error message : "The specified URL is invalid". Nonetheless, the URL doesn't seem to be invalid. Even when I change file's name or move it to another directory, I get the same error message.

I am not the only one who wants to use this feed. No matter on which account you try it, you still get an error message. Why ?

How ever, when I enter the RSS feed in the field I am told that the RSS feed is invalid. Why ?

All the issues are fixed at the moment, i.e. digests should work properly as well as feeds should be added flawlessly.

Still if there are difficulties, please include ID(s) of the digest and link to the "problem" feed(s) when submitting.
