My links keep disappearing for my feeds. I can't edit, update or add new feeds in either the new or old control panel. Customer service and support for the product would have been nicer than the new look of the control panel.

Customer Service. It is impossible for me to get a response through the forums. My links don't work in my digest. The description as set up in my blog links to a news story on my website. The link is maintained when I burn it on feedburner. But for some reason when it comes out of feed digest onto my website, the links are gone. Help!

You know (and already may have seen) that Feed Informer was updated. We've changed whole site's design in order to extend usability of our service. Now we need your help.

Please, leave us something to think about... Tell us if you like new design. Is it easier to use Feed Informer now, or we're still missing some key points our new design (or whole service)? Don't forget to explain your opinion (so we could make so new upgrades a bit faster).

We're looking forward to any feedback from the community!

I am new with working with feeds, but how is it possible that the feed on my website presents it self in the France language instead off the Dutch or English language?
I use for my website EzContens version 2.0.2. Can someone help me ?

Hey, Peter - As I said in my previous post, I can understand your point about the new owners dwelling on the big picture for now. As long as the feeds don't expire until we get a chance to resubscribe, that seems fine. My feeds are all working OK. But I have a follow-up question: If I try to add another feed to my account, will that muck things up - in other words: will the existing feeds stop working, will my account be terminated, or anything that could jeopardize the current OK situation?

Hello all!

I have three separate digests setup under one account. Each pulls in its own feed and I'm using them to display the latest posts from a particular author on our family's blog.

So the original feeds are:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/tumblewagon/diary
http://feeds.feedburner.com/tumblewagon/log

As you can see by clicking on those, they all have different content. But if you visit our website at tumblewagon.com and scroll down into the footer area, I've included the PHP code for each individual Feed Digest next to each of our photos.

The PHP inclusion code is correct, but for some reason it's showing the same content for the 1st and last entries, and the middle entry is just wrong all together. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on here?

If any additional information is needed, please let me know! Thank you!

You can remove the logo by using CSS. The logo is inside a Div, so find the name of the div box, and just hide it :p

I don't know if this will violate your terms of use, so watch out. But that is the quickest and easiest way of doing it

I too have been having updating issues. However, it seems like the second that I checked up on my feed here on feed informer, the feed on my own homepage updated. Perhaps Feed Informer isn't automatically updating the pages and sources that our websites are using to embed the feeds. If this is so, then Feed Informer needs to do something about it, because I can't be bothered to come here every time I update my WordPress, expecting it to show the changes on my website. I think I will contact the group themselves and raise this issue with them.

I switched to a new server which is PHP 5 and my feeds do not work. What is the fix for this?

When using the "Smart Headline With Source" template, the css generated is very generic and overrides a lot of the css files I've created on my page. For example, it sets the link color to #04E (a { color: #04E; }).

This template should have much more specific CSS classes applied to it so that the CSS styles don't bleed out and mess up the rest of my page styling. For example, the link CSS could be "div.feed_informer a { color: #04E; }"

This is quite important for templates because beginning users won't even know why the link color on their website suddenly has changed.

thanks for you post. I haven't checked with my host yet - how did yours fix the issue exaclty?

As far as Feeddigest is concerned, I've been using it for more than one year (paying) but know I'm evaluating any alternatives. Do you know any other provider?

Update to my previous post.

Problem was with my website host, NOT the php feed.

It may be that many problems reported here are with changes made by website hosts and not RSS feeds. Fortunately, my host has incredibly good support and resolved problem immediately. Whew!!!

Important update.

There was nothing wrong with the php feed. Problem was with my website host. They fixed problem in about 2 minutes. It was probably caused when they deleted php4 from their system today and now have only php5.

Sardifuori - if you haven't already done so, might be worth checking with your website host. Your problem may be similar to mine. Many hosts are getting rid of php4. Although I was already on php5, deleting php4 may have effected php include feature which some hosts are also dropping.

As for Feed.Informer - they have a unique system. I've just been using it for a month but very impressed. Customer contact is currently lacking but their products have great potential. Having checked many other aggregators, I think they could have a goldmine if they can pull the operation together.

If so, I have 3 digests which quit updating sometime today. They are php include. They worked well until now.

Appears others (stmarys and dweible) are in the same boat. Perhaps many others too.

Can management or someone please advise whats happening.

I had to remove all php codes from my pages because it seemed they were preventing them to load correctly. I need to know when the service will be ok and I do hope that your level of support will improve asap.

this same thing happened to me. Also, I aggregate six blogs into my feed and they all read title and then "my blog" there are six different sources and each one is named individually but this does not carry over. WTF? I have tried to update the feed a handful of times and it never allows me to update.

I have a tumblelog that I am using as the feed for my digest. I put links on the log with the first sentence of the story and it links to the original story. The problem is, when it created it it, it gives me my headline twice--once at the top of the feed (which I want--and that title is what links to the story) but then it repeats itself in the description and then is followed by a colon and the first sentence. How can I keep it from duplicating the title? It's not only redundant, it's making my feed really long. I asked Tumblr and they said the duplication is coming from my feed created here. KPHV4WEPNI

For some reason, our feeds have stopped having correct links associated with them. The title of each entry on our feed page shows correctly, but they are hyperlinked to our home page rather than the podcast/mp3 file associated with them. The associated XML file does have links associated with them. Please advise.

Suddenly this sript is forcing a wierd 10 pixel white space at the top of my page. Been working fine for almost a year.

My feed's last update was the end of June, though I know there have been entries that should be showing up.

Also, I noticed that my feed doesn't list all of the sources I had set up on Feed Digest. I e-mailed Feed Informer about the problem over a week ago and still haven't received a response.

What's happening?

I can't speak for the new owners, but as far as I'm led to believe, they are not sticking to the old way things were billed. As such, all existing members /should/ be able to use the system for free. However, I think they will be looking to implement a new account scheme in the future, which will be split into paid and free. In any case, I don't think any users are being deactivated whether their accounts "expire" or not.. that is, nothing is happening on expiration.

Peter - understand entirely your position, but could you provide some guidance on the basic question of service - namely, how do we continue using this service if our subscription is about to expire? Many of us have developed sites that depend on this service now. Basically, we want to renew but can't. Any suggestions at all - whether some way to contact the new owners directly or an alternate service?
