Breaking: Infowars’ Owen Shroyer Sends Cease & Desist Letter To Imposter Social Media Account, Demands X Take Action

Owen Shroyer, host of the Infowars War Room, issued a pair of legal notices on Thursday demanding X (formerly Twitter) take action against accounts clearly violating their terms of service, and that one specific imposter account immediately stop misappropriating Shroyer’s identity.

The legal move comes a week after Infowars wrote about several fake Owen Shroyer accounts using the journalist’s likeness, issuing messages on his behalf and harassing other users.

One imposter Shroyer account even sports an official blue check mark and has deceived work associates and other media outlets who believed the phony account was the real Shroyer.

Constitutional & Civil Rights Attorney Lexis Anderson, who is representing Shroyer in the matter, joined War Room on Wednesday to explain how the accounts are violating X terms of service and why Shroyer is taking action.

The letter to the blue check imposter Shroyer states, “Over the course of nearly a year, you have engaged in crude, derogatory, and inappropriate commentary on X while using Mr. Shroyer’s name and image. On several occasions, you have impersonated Mr. Shroyer and misled other X users, many of whom know Mr. Shroyer personally and/or professionally, to believe that you represent his identity and opinions. In doing so, you are actively damaging Mr. Shroyer’s reputation and professional credibility as a reporter, journalist, and media personality.”

The individual running the account was put on notice that there will be civil action taken if they don’t immediately stop “publishing content under Mr. Shroyer’s name.”

“Remove Mr. Shroyer’s name from your account and X handle, remove all images of Mr. Shroyer from your profile, erase all elements used to impersonate Mr. Shroyer’s identity from your bio, and clearly signify that you are not and have never been affiliated with Mr. Shroyer by indicating that you are a ‘parody’ or ‘fake’ account in both your name and bio,” the message demands.

The legal notice delivered to X demands the social media company take action against the imposter Shroyer “for failing to comply with X’s Terms of Service and engaging in defamation and the misappropriation of Mr. Shroyer’s name and likeness in violation of Texas state law.”

The letter also accurately pointed out that since X users can now receive payments for their activity on the website, “this fraudulent account may receive monetary benefit from its theft of Mr. Shroyer’s identity.”

X was made aware of each violation of their own terms of service as well as Texas state laws.

Anderson also noted Shroyer is unable to defend himself against the phony accounts because his X account remains “unjustly suspended” from the Jack Dorsey era of Twitter.

“Mr. Shroyer demands that his original account, of the name ‘J. Owen Shroyer’ (username ‘@allidoisowen’), be restored so that he may defend his reputation in the public square,” the attorney wrote. “Mr. Shroyer was never given a reason as to why his account was suspended in early 2020 or why his subsequent appeals have been rejected. Many accounts that were unjustly banned prior to the recent change of leadership at X have been restored.”

“Not only is Mr. Shroyer entitled to the same reversal of his suspension, but he requires it so that he may defend his reputation and protect himself against further fraudulent misappropriations of his identity and defamatory activity on this platform. We implore you to correct this wrong.”

A Ukrainian news channel shared an edited video featuring Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky appearing to listen in on his own speech at the United Nations General Assembly.

The 1+1 Marathon Ukrainian media outlet disseminated the clumsily edited clip, which features Zelensky speaking to world leaders at the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly — and Zelensky also among the crowd listening intently to his own speech.

The error can be caught at the 14-second mark in the following video:

Social media users theorized the Ukrainian news channel may have made the edit to create the illusion that more people were actually in attendance when Zelensky gave his speech.

The actual size of the crowd in attendance, seen in the below video at the 15:11 mark, indeed was significantly smaller than what the edited video showed.

The deceptive edit harkens back to the start of Ukraine’s war with Russia, when the Ukraine Ministry of Defense shared footage from the Arma III video game claiming it showed Ukrainian defenses shooting down Russian helicopters.

Elsewhere in New York City, Zelensky’s arrival was bizarrely hailed by a sign in Times Square that stated, “Glory to Urine,” overlaid on top of a Ukraine flag alongside a photo of Zelensky.

A McDonald’s ad in Japan, simply featuring a mother and father enjoying a meal with their daughter, is being praised for its wholesome depiction of the traditional nuclear family.

The commercial, advertised on the McDonald’s Japan X account Wednesday, shows the happy parents eating a chicken nugget combo from the popular fast-food joint at their kitchen table, as their daughter is ecstatic to be fed a french fry.

An armed business owner intervened when a robbery suspect viciously attacked a dollar store employee in Florida last week, according to reports.

The disturbing incident unfolded at around 10 p.m. on September 13 in Ft. Lauderdale.

Nicolas Richard Lee Deas, 20, and a male accomplice approached a Family Dollar as a worker was locking up and claimed to have left his cell phone in store, Local 10 reports, citing court documents.

When the employee obliged Deas’ request to look inside the store for his device, the suspect pointed a firearm at the worker.

“Give me the money or I will kill you,” Deas reportedly demanded.

The victim took the men to a safe where the accomplice piled around $1,200 cash into a bag.

“A man closing his own business in the shopping center said he heard the commotion at the nearby Family Dollar and went in, the report states,” according to Local 10.

“Police said the business owner saw Deas with a gun in his hand, took out his own gun and ordered the suspect to drop his weapon and get on the ground, which he did.”

The Good Samaritan held Deas until authorities arrived but the accomplice reportedly escaped.

It is unclear if the other suspect has been arrested or if the cash has been recovered at the time of this writing.

Deas was charged with grand theft of a firearm, aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony, armed robbery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and illegally carrying a concealed firearm.

Embattled actor and social commentator Russell Brand broke his silence Friday calling out the UK government for collaborating with the media and Big Tech to censor him.

In a post to X, Brand – who’s been smeared with sexual assault claims in the mainstream media – noted, “By now you’re probably aware that the British government have asked Big Tech platforms to censor our online content and that some online platforms [YouTube] have complied with that request.”

Brand next highlights the Trusted News Initiative (TNI), a project headed to the BBC that aims to unite “trusted” news groups (AP, AFP, BBC, CBC, Financial Times, Google/YouTube, The Hindu, The Nation Media Group, Meta, Microsoft, Thomson Reuters) behind an effort to “tackle disinformation.”

“Now as if often the case when a word like ‘trusted’ is used as part of an acronym to describe an unelected body, ‘trust’ is the last thing you should be offering,” Brand says.

“The TNI is a collaboration between Big Tech and legacy media organizations to target, control, choke and shut down independent media organizations,” he says.

Brand goes on to underscore a quote from a TNI member who once stated, “Because actually the real rivalry now is not between for example the BBC and CNN globally, it’s actually between all trusted news providers and…digital platforms.”

Despite the recent attacks, Brand says he defiantly plans to press forward on the Rumble video platform, and will continue exposing the suppression of free speech, the military industrial complex’s profitable war machine, Big Pharma’s influence on government policy and its evasion of liability, and more.

X users corrected platform owner Elon Musk on Friday when he attempted to claim his social media site values free speech “just as much” as video platform Rumble, which people pointed out unlike X still hosts Infowars founder Alex Jones.

The reaction from users came as Musk expressed disappointment towards embattled actor and commentator Russell Brand’s decision following his YouTube demonitization to direct users to his Rumble channel, rather than use X, which Musk said “has supported free speech just as much.”

During Zelensky’s Capitol Hill visit Thursday, President Biden reiterated what came with the $325 million aid package.

“Today I approved the next tranche of U.S. security assistance to Ukraine including more artillery, more ammunition, more anti-tank weapons and next week, the first U.S. Abrams tanks will be delivered to Ukraine.”

Also, a major development in the war this week was when the Pentagon exempted its Ukraine operations from being impacted by a government shutdown should lawmakers fail to strike a deal on how to fund the swamp.

“Operation Atlantic Resolve is an excepted activity under a government lapse in appropriations,” said DOD spokesperson Chris Sherwood to POLITICO Thursday.

American Citizen Injured in Crash With Carload of Romanian Illegals at Northern Border

An American citizen was injured this week when their vehicle was struck by a car filled with Romanian citizens who illegally crossed the U.S.-Canada border moments earlier, authorities say.

The incident unfolded just before 7 p.m. on Sunday evening in rural Whatcom County, located in Washington state.

A car carrying seven Romanians drove “across a remote portion of the United States/Canada border and through a berry field” near the city of Sumas along the international frontier, Customs and Border Protection explained in a statement.

“A short time later their vehicle crashed into a local citizen’s vehicle at the intersection of Van Buren and Badger Roads in rural Whatcom County, causing injuries to the occupants of both vehicles.”

Sumas Border Patrol Station agents arrived at the scene and discovered an overturned sedan and a pickup truck that had sustain serious damage.

All eight persons involved required medical attention.

Four of the Romanians were later released to Border Patrol for processing while the other three remained in hospital for an extended period.

The condition of the American victim is unclear.

On Monday, Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez shared footage of large foreign flag waving on a small island in the border river near Eagle Pass.

“The Eagle Pass area continues to experience an influx of illegal immigrants – the majority from Venezuela,” Lt. Olivarez wrote.

“Some decided to claim a Texas island by placing a flag from Venezuela – that was quickly taken care of by our DPS Tactical Marine Unit.”

A Border Patrol agent was left bloodied and injured during a confrontation with an illegal alien who bore the word “RAT” tattooed into his forehead, according to reports.

Former Texas Congresswoman Mayra Flores, whose husband works with U.S. Border Patrol, shared disturbing images of two men covered in blood over the weekend along with a brief explanation.

“This is the type of violence that is being exerted on Border Patrol Agents by those who don’t want to be apprehended,” Flores wrote on social media.

“The suspect was encountered by Border Patrol near McAllen, Texas, and was labeled a rat by the cartels. Please pray for our men and women in uniform.”

Flores also shared a photo of a gruesome leg wound presumably suffered by the agent during the scuffle.

Neither Customs and Border Protection (CBP) nor Border Patrol have released any information about the incident.

NBC News reports Trump aide Steven Cheung had released the video of the former president saying he wanted to buy the firearm, and “said that Trump purchased the semi-automatic pistol.”

However, Cheung later deleted the tweet, and Trump’s “campaign later told NBC News that Trump did not actually end up completing the purchase.”

While many liberal outlets worked themselves into a frenzy claiming Trump’s gun purchase would have been against the law, CNBC in an article Monday quietly admitted the law barring someone under indictment from purchasing a firearm was recently ruled to be unconstitutional.

Texas GOP Passes Resolution Calling on Gov, AG to Investigate Colony Ridge Illegal Alien Settlement

Republicans in the Texas legislature voted unanimously to pass a resolution calling for a special session to be convened to discuss the sprawling illegal alien settlement in Texas known as Colony Ridge.

The Texas GOP passed the resolution in a 61-0 vote Monday, calling on Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) to investigate the illegal immigrant settlement that cropped up north of Houston in recent weeks.

The resolution attests that the Colony Ridge development, which houses “an estimated 50,000 to 75,000 inhabitants and spans over 60 square miles,” is advertised on Spanish language and international channels and that the developer doesn’t require social security numbers to obtain loans.

The resolution also cites The Daily Wire’s reporting claiming the area has a minimal law enforcement presence, making it rife for cartel and drug activity, “including the Gulf and Sinaloa cartels which are reported to have purchased land in the early stages of the development in order to set up safe houses in the area.”

“Despite the challenges posed to the community by illegal alien settlements and the cartel activity that follows them, the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office does not check immigration status in routine stops because, according to the office, it ‘would take forever,’” the resolution states.

It adds that the nearby school district, Cleveland ISD, has become overwhelmed with the influx of illegals, growing from an enrollment of 6,500 to over 12,400 in four years.

“Cleveland ISD has had to build several new schools and is reported to be hiring H-1B visa holders due to the number of foreign language teachers needed to keep pace with enrollment,” the resolution adds.

Republicans are also calling on Gov. Abbott to open a full investigation into Colony Ridge “and its possible connections to elected officials in the region.”

The effort to prevent more illegals from inhabiting the area comes as alarming footage made its rounds on social media last week showing an overhead view from a helicopter of the expansive development near the Woodlands suburb where illegal migrants are reportedly the majority of residents.

Former US Attorney Who Prosecuted Jan. 6 Defendants Arrested for ‘Repeatedly Stabbing’ Motorist in Road Rage Incident

A lawyer who worked for the US Attorney’s Office prosecuting citizens who attended the infamous Jan. 6 protest is embroiled in his own legal entanglement after he was arrested for allegedly stabbing a fellow motorist during a road rage incident.

Patrick Douglas Scruggs, 38, made headlines Tuesday when he was taken into custody on the busy Howard Frankland Bridge in Tampa, Florida.

The Tampa Bay Times described a three-car crash and the incredible series of events that culminated in Scruggs’ arrest:

According to a news release issued Tuesday by the Florida Highway Patrol, a 40-year-old Tampa man was driving a sedan south on Interstate 275 when he and his 43-year-old wife noticed a vehicle that was stopped in the travel lanes of the bridge shortly before 9:24 a.m. The 35-year-old driver, also of Tampa, was slumped over inside his sedan, troopers said, so the couple pulled over in front of the car to help.

The 40-year-old man was unable to get inside the other sedan, so he walked back to his car to get something that could break the window. While he was doing that, the 35-year-old man woke up and accelerated forward, crashing into the couple’s sedan. He shifted into reverse and then tried to get around the couple’s sedan, according to troopers, but at that point, he struck Scruggs’ sedan as he was driving by the scene.

Scruggs pulled over, got out and walked up to the driver of the vehicle that hit his car. According to the Highway Patrol, Scruggs broke a window and started stabbing the 35-year-old man with a pocketknife.

The couple returned to the vehicle to help the man being stabbed, but Scruggs then tried to stab them and they fled, troopers said.

A St. Petersburg Police Department officer driving past saw the commotion and pulled over to help, the Highway Patrol said. The officer detained Scruggs and called for assistance.

Photos uploaded to Facebook by a passing motorist showed Scruggs outside of his vehicle clutching a knife, as the driver of another vehicle can be seen holding their bloodied hands out of their window.

According to the Facebook user, Scruggs was “holding the knife and I saw the arms of the guy sticking out the window like he was pleading for help- and his arms were all cut up.”

Scruggs was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault and armed burglary.

Scruggs’ LinkedIn page shows he previously worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Tampa up until May 2023 when he joined the Atlanta-based Barnes and Thornburg law firm.

Recently, “Scruggs also appeared on behalf of the federal government during hearings for Florida residents accused of taking part in the riots at the U.S. Capitol by supporters of outgoing President Donald Trump on Jan. 6, 2021,” the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Scruggs’ previous job as a US prosecutor was also corroborated by Jan. 6 defendant Adam Johnson, better known as the “Lectern Guy” who paraded around the Capitol with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s lectern during the Jan. 6 protest.

During Johnson’s trial, Scruggs reportedly told the judge, “This is a serious case… Everyone involved in the storming of the Capitol last week needs to be held accountable for their actions, including Mr. Johnson.”

Johnson was subsequently sentenced to 75 days in prison by a DC district court judge.

On Wednesday, Johnson spoke up about the prosecutor’s arrest, writing on X, “Meet the guy who prosecuted me in Tampa for walking in a building on January 6th.”

Scruggs reportedly posted $65,000 bail and was released from the Pinellas County Jail late Tuesday evening.

In a statement to the Tampa Bay Times, Scruggs’ lawyer wrote his client should be afforded the presumption of innocence.

Captioning the video, investigative journalist Anthony Aguero who’s on the ground documenting the invasion noted the City of El Paso “is sending them to New York.”

“It’s not just Governor @GovAbbott,” Aguero wrote, cautioning Democrat New York City Mayor Eric Adams and video journalist @ViralNewsNYC that “they’re headed your way.”

While residents of New York City have been staging demonstrations against migrants being housed by the city in temporary shelters, citizens of the City of Chicago, Illinois, have also been voicing frustration with the migrant influx.

However, despite citizens’ complaints, Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson has insisted Chicago will remain a sanctuary city welcoming to illegals.

The startling footage out of Texas comes as the U.S. is seeing record illegal immigration in recent months, as tens of thousands of migrants traverse the open southern border with impunity.

Aguero last week also interviewed dozens of illegal immigrants sitting along the U.S. border wall in Arizona, with many declaring they were headed for New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and California.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) highlighted a sickening detail in the Hunter Biden saga during the House Biden impeachment inquiry Thursday, pointing out evidence shows the president’s son used his father’s office as vice president to threaten sex trafficking victims.

Puppet President Joe Biden used his speech at the anniversary of John McCain’s death to attack MAGA Republicans loyal to the ideas promoted by former President Donald Trump.

“I have come to honor the McCain Institute and Library because they are a home of a proud Republican who put his country first,” Biden said. “Our commitment should be no less because democracy should unite all Americans, regardless of political affiliation.”

“And there is something dangerous happening in America now,” Biden added. “There is an extremist movement that does not share the basic beliefs in our democracy: the MAGA Movement.“

“Not every Republican, not even a majority of Republicans, adhere to the MAGA extremist ideology. I know because I’ve been able to work with Republicans my whole career. But there is no question that today’s Republican Party is driven and intimidated by MAGA Republican extremists. Their extreme agenda, if carried out, would fundamentally alter the institutions of American democracy as we know it.“

“Frankly, these extremists have no idea what the hell they’re talking about. (Laughter.) No, I’m serious,” Biden added.

“Just consider these as actual quotes from MAGA — the MAGA movement,” he continued, “Quote, ‘I am your retribution.’ ‘Slitting throats’ of civil servants, replacing them with extreme political cronies. MAGA extremists proclaim support for law enforcement only to say, ‘We…’ — quote, ‘We must destroy the FBI.’”

Biden went on to demonize MAGA “extremists” by claiming they want to overturn the rule of law, threaten democracy, and promulgate conspiracy theories to divide America.

“This MAGA threat is the threat to the brick and mortar of our democratic institutions. But it’s also a threat to the character of our nation and gives our — that gives our Constitution life, that binds us together as Americans in common cause,” Biden said.

The address’s message is similar to the one Biden gave in a Hitler-esque speech last year in which he demonized his political opposition by proclaiming, “MAGA Republicans… embrace anger. They thrive on chaos.”

The rising presidential candidate has been vocally criticizing the Democratic Party lately and this move would make sense considering the primary is rigged to favor the incumbent, Joe Biden.

“Kennedy’s campaign machine is now planning ‘attack ads’ against the Democratic National Committee in order to ‘pave the way’ for his announcement in Philadelphia about running as an independent,” Mediaite reported Friday.

A Kennedy campaign source told the outlet, “Bobby feels that the DNC is changing the rules to exclude his candidacy so an independent run is the only way to go.”

Earlier this month, Kennedy said he was ready to “look at other options” when it came to political parties after the DNC excluded him by endorsing Joe Biden and rigging the Democrat nomination process.
