I’m curious if anyone is aware of a 3-way John gates valve (or alternative) I could install after the filters to make purging easier in the future (and also allow for easier access to the filtered water). Of note, purging several gallons after replacing the filters is necessary to avoid new filter byproduct damaging my espresso machine.

Essentially after the filter I would have the 3-way valve which would allow to switch the flow to either my espresso machine, or an alternative line which I can use for purging or simply accessing the filtered water for other uses. But talking to my neighbor of a different duplex building, the module controls the sprinklers to their lawn as well. My water bill triples in the summer months when the sprinklers get turned on. It's twice the amount than the house I lived in previously in the same area and size.

Is there anyway to tell if I'm paying for my neighbors sprinklers?

   submitted by /u/heretwonotparty
[link] [comments] Plumbing /u/heretwonotparty What’s missing https://www.reddit.com/r/Plumbing/comments/1ohukm4/whats_missing/ Plumbing help offered here, please post pictures. urn:uuid:5c874af9-9a9c-b226-7945-971a785cd247 Mon, 27 Oct 2025 23:50:37 +0000

This drain plug must have a piece missing but I don’t know what it is- when I put it in it won’t screw in and just sits there but my kids easily knock it out of place.
